What we collect, and what is public.

Resale Referee is run by WeldonPC in Ohio. This notice covers www.resalereferee.com. Effective October 10, 2026.

In plain words

What you give us
To create an account: your name, email address and a password (stored scrambled, never in plain text). To post a listing: the title, description, price, photos, category and town, plus a contact name, email address and, if you choose, a phone number. To message a seller or leave a comment: your name, email address and what you write. The site also records the internet (IP) address a listing or account was created from, to deal with spam.
What is shown publicly
Everything in a listing: title, description, price, photos, town and the seller's name. Your phone number is shown only if you tick "Show phone" and your email address only if you tick "Show email". Comments are shown with the name you give. Your password and IP address are never shown.
Messages to sellers
The contact form on a listing sends your message, name and email address (and phone, if you give one) to the seller by email, so the seller can reply to you directly.
Emails the site sends
Account and listing confirmation links, password resets, messages from buyers, and search alerts you sign up for. No newsletters or marketing.
Google reCAPTCHA
The posting, sign-up, login and contact forms use Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam robots. It sends information about your browser and device to Google, under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
The site uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your place while you browse. It runs no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Selling your data
Resale Referee does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Payments
The site takes no payments today: buyers and sellers settle up between themselves. Paid options (Spotlight, Seller Pass) are not on sale during the preview. If they open, payment will go through PayPal and this notice will be updated first.
Removing your information
You can edit or delete your listings from your account at any time. To have your account or anything else removed, ask through the contact page. Copies can stay in the server's backups for a while after removal.
